Millersville University's Panhellenic Council is the governing body for sorority life on campus. The council is composed of representatives from the seven sororities that are affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC). Although our sisters wear different letters, we are united by our values, which are academic excellence, community service, and leadership development. The seven sororities currently affiliated with the NPC at George Mason University are Alpha Sigma Alpha, Alpha Sigma Tau, Alpha Xi Delta, Delta Zeta.
The Panhellenic Council oversees the sorority recruitment process for potential new members (PNMs) and works to ensure that the process is fair, transparent, and welcoming for all participants. They also plan and coordinate various events throughout the year, such as philanthropy events, social events, and educational programs, to promote sisterhood and personal growth among sorority members.
In addition to its role within the Greek community at Millersville University, the Panhellenic Council is also a member of the National Panhellenic Conference, which is the umbrella organization for 26 national and international sororities. The NPC promotes inter-fraternal cooperation and helps to establish guidelines and best practices for sorority life on college campuses across the United States
